Hi Friends

Perhaps you know of someone who has fallen on hard times and needs a hand. I have met many in my work with NOHO Home Alliance and their stories are humbling. Many have lost their homes and jobs and comfortable lives due to health issues and expensive medical treatments. Others have addiction or mental health issues. We try not to judge and just focus on what we can do to help them get through the day. Living on the streets is tough.

As many of you know, I spend 1-2 mornings per week at NOHO Home Alliance helping our unhoused neighbors get the services and resources they need at our drop in center in North Hollywood. The ideal outcome is to help people find housing and we are working with area partners to make progress in that direction. Meanwhile, each day we chip away at the little things too helping our neighbors with replacing lost documents, receiving their mail, providing hot showers, clothing, fresh meals and a safe place to sit and relax for a few hours.

It is that time of the year for our 2nd Annual Sleepout Fundraiser and we are raising money to provide additional services to our program. We are having a free show on October 2, 2021 from 7:00PM - 8:00PM and you are invited to attend either onsite or via zoom.
Our event goal is $30K and my personal target is $1,000 - I hope that you will join us for the show and help by making a tax deductible donation to this organization about which I care deeply.
