As you may know, I've been part of the NoHo Home Alliance team since 2019. We operate a drop in center 4 mornings a week in North Hollywood and Studio City and provide meals, clothing, showers, assistance with lost documents and an entryway into housing. I am one of the site managers on Mondays. It's complex work that requires a lot of patience and it can be frustrating navigating the obstacles in the system. Despite the frustrations and the magnitude of the homeless situation, it is very rewarding to help a guest solve a problem, find housing, or just offer a relaxing place to chill out for part of their day. In our 2022 annual fundraiser this year we are hoping to raise $30,000 and we are taking a special moment to celebrate the many successes we've had and express big thanks to our volunteers, donors and business partners. My personal goal this year is $1,000. Many thanks for your generosity. ~ Sandy
