With NoHo Home Alliance we have created something amazing: an organization that blends community action and volunteerism with staff-led administrative practices. This means that NHHA can do more than any local community-based organization I have seen in LA. We can feed hungry people AND refer them to housing. We can provide showers AND get people on the streets the medical care they need. We can provide a mailing address at our drop-in sites AND caring relationship already at encampments and alleyways.

PLEASE HELP NOHO HOME CONTINUE AND EXPAND ITS INCREDIBLE WORK TO END HOMELESSNESS IN OUR CORNER OF LA. Our work is so important. So critical. NoHo Home Alliance has a huge impact on the lives of unhoused individuals and on our neighborhoods. We really do build healthy community. And we’ve been doing it on a shoestring. But even shoestrings cost money. And frankly, in order to sustain and grow our impact we need to raise more money for NHHA to pay for more supplies and more staff.

Help me raise $2,000 which will pay for our pop-up drop-in access centers to run for 2 days. (FYI it costs about $250 an hour to run our pop-up drop-in access centers where persons experiencing homelessness can get emergency services, mail, housing referrals and connect with other services. So our 4-hour days cost about $1,000 a piece.)
