Dear Friends in LA, across the country and around the world,

HELP! I work for an amazing small non-profit that supports unhoused neighbors as they journey from the streets to greater wellbeing and housing. We run drop-in access centers, outreach teams, do housing advocacy, and connect low-income folks to resources and opportunities.

What makes NoHo Home so different is that we are person-centered, volunteer run and staff led, and persistent, smart and creative. We are in it for the long haul. What do I mean by that? We really get to know our unhoused neighbors, find out what they really want and need, and then support them in moving toward their goals. We are a team of people, some staff and a lot of volunteers, who join together on all levels of the work--from outreach, to emergency services, to housing referrals and support once people are in housing--to make sure people are equipped to stay housed. At NHHA we fill gaps, breakdown hurdles for people, and figure out how to overcome challenges. The stories I can tell you...about the many times our unhoused participants almost miss opportunities NOT because of something they do or don't do, but because of the systemic complexities and inadequacies of some of the "solutions" like housing vouchers and the lack of permanent supportive housing.

PLEASE HELP. NoHo Home has a goal of $30,000 for this fall's Celebrating Our Success fundraiser. My personal fundraising goal is $1,000. PLEASE HELP. Donate below as generously as you can. PLEASE HELP. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR. END HOMELESSNESS.
